The American Women's Association was established over 80 years ago as a philanthropic organisation with the purpose of bringing American women together.

As an auxiliary to the Royal Children's Hospital, we provide support through fundraising and volunteer efforts. As a social organisation, we provide friendship and support to our members in their 'home away from home'.

We have assisted thousands of women connect with others and find their way here in Melbourne. We offer women the chance to join activity groups, and to be engaged with their new community through fundraising and volunteer opportunities.

We celebrate our cultural heritage with events on the major American holidays and host fundraising events throughout each year to raise money for the hospital.
