Please join us for the American Women’s Auxiliary’s 2008 Independence Day ball. Fabulous food and wine, a great band and entertainment will be the backdrop to a wonderful evening of celebration and fundraising for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Back by popular demand are Wilbur Wilde and the Frankie J Holden Band.
They had the dance floor jumping last year and are set to keep us dancing all night - so get out your dancing shoes.
Our fundraising efforts will allow the Dermatology Department to better treat children with birthmarks and other blood vessel conditions.
Currently, the treatment of these conditions is an intensive process that is very painful for a child to undergo. Through our fundraising efforts, the purchase of the laser will enable the RCH to make a real difference in the lives of these children.
As Dr Bekhor, the Director of the Laser Unit has said: “It is for this reason that we reach out to the AWA for assistance as the only way to obtain this type of equipment”.
We look forward to seeing you there,
The American Women’s Auxiliary to the Royal Children’s Hospital.
With Utmost Gratitude
We thank the 2007 Independence Day Ball sponsors and are humbled by their generosity as they stepped forward to help us purchase Spinal Nerve Conductor at The Royal Children’s Hospital.
