Book Talk (P.M.) E-mail

Coordinator: Evelyn Enyeart

The evening Book Talk Group meets once a month.  Prior to our meeting, a choice of books are selected so that each member has time to read the book and come prepared to discuss their ideas.  We choose a diverse selection of books and then meet up for dinner at a restaurant (usually in the CBD) in keeping with the theme for our book.  Over a delicious meal, we have the opportunity to share our thoughts  and see others views about the books we've just completed.  We always love to share our ideas as well as meet new faces.  Any of those who fancy a read, please join us!

Bunko E-mail

Coordinator: Vivian Davey

Strictly speaking, bunko is a game of dice, played in rounds. Players take turns rolling the dice and trying to accumulate as many points as possible to win each round. The game is played at tables of four in competing teams of two.

For us?  Bunko is a social event. It's a party.. it's a blast!  We get together once a month, leaving the cares and worries behind, to enjoy each others company and have a bit of fun.  All are welcome to join.  Please contact us if you're interested in finding out more about Bunko.

GenXers E-mail

Coordinator: Ann Marie Johnston and Allison Milverton

GenX is a group of young women who enjoy getting together for social activities outside of working hours, as most of us work the traditional 9-5.  Past events have included dinner, drinks, bowling and movies, pampering weekends away, and creative endeavors.

We usually meet once a month, and sometimes have extra get togethers thrown in the mix.  While events are generally "ladies only", there are partner/spouse inclusive events as well.  We seem to have one or two new women join our group every month and we would love to continue growing.  All are welcome!
