Thanksgiving Appeal
The AWA celebrated Thanksgiving this year at Bob's Steak and Chop House in the
Docklands.
~40 members and their families shared in a three course meal with new and long-term members.
The night - though a 'social event' had a fundraising slant - Bob's kindly allowed the AWA to host a 'Thanksgiving Appeal' - asking diners over the Thanksgiving weekend to donate to the RCH through the AWA.
The Appeal was a great success with over $2,500 being raised for the Children's Bioethics Centre.
