Halloween Party Coming Up!!

The kids' Halloween party is set for October 28th!  There will be pizza, games and of course, treats.  There will also be a creative twist on "Trick or Treat" so come and find out what that is!  If you would like to help or have any questions please contact Jennifer Smart at 9859 1639 or email Jennifer.

AWA Annual General Meeting Coming Up! The AWA General Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 11th.  The meeting will be held at the Lightning Ridge Opal Mines in the Melbourne Workshop and Showroom between 6:30-8:30 pm.  The address is 175 Flinders Lane.  All members are encouraged to attend.  Please RSVP by October 1, 2007 to Annie Do at 0401 858 181 or by email.

Thanksgiving Dinner is scheduled for Sunday, November 18th!  This year's Big Turkey Dinner will be held at the Lincoln of Toorak.  Volunteers are needed for preparations.  If you are interested in helping out, please call Christi Miller at 9428 4372 or email Christie.

Gourmet Lunch  - The Gourmet Lunch group will be meeting on Wednesday, September 5th at 12:00 p.m. at 28 Church Street in Toorak.  Each month there is a different theme picked by the hostess and September's menu will be Italian with recipes culled from one of Giada De Laurentiis' famous cookbooks.  Come join in the fun!

Membership Renewal Time!!  If you haven't done so already, please send in your membership fees as soon as possible!!  As evidenced by the above events, AWA members will have lots of opportunities this year to have fun, make new friends and maybe find a new hobby to enjoy!  To make payment easier than ever, members are free to use Paypal to pay their fees online.  To renew your membership, simply click here to go directly to the AWA website to fill out the form.  The cost for membership renewal is $52.00
