2009 Independence Day Celebration
The AWA is pleased to invite you to the 2009 Independence Day Celebration on Saturday June 20th, 2009 at Bobby Mcgee's at Rydges Hotel. The evening commences at 7pm with a roaming dinner and cash bar. Dress is smart casual; no penguin suits this year so break out the Red, White and Blue for a good ol' fashioned fun 4th of July with dancing and entertainment. Of course, it will all be for a great cause -- all proceeds from the evening will be going to purchase much needed equipment for the Cystic Fibrosis Research Team at the Royal Children's Hospital.
Now's the time to get your tickets for the best party of the year! There's 2 ways to buy your tickets this year. You may send in the RSVP card you received in the mail along with your payment to the address located on the card. Or if you prefer, you may purchase your tickets using Paypal at www.awamelbourne.org Just click on the Independence Day Celebration link under the photo. You can use the secure Paypal method for payment -- it's quick and completely safe. The deadline to RSVP is Friday May 30th so the clock is ticking! Click here if you would like to view the invite and RSVP card.
Tickets are $55 per person -- a real bargain in Melbourne -- for an evening of food, entertainment, dancing and fund raising for the RCH Cystic Fibrosis Team. We have some very important equipment to purchase and WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT to achieve our goals!
Some of the amazing auction items include custom designed furniture from Little Nest as well as aboriginal original art from Red Rock Gallery, and High Tea at the Windsor Hotel along with an appealing array of items including spa and restaurant vouchers, jewelry from Lightning Ridge Opals and Albrecht Jewelers and loads of gift hampers.
If you are unable to attend, please consider making a donation to the AWA. It will go directly to support RCH Cystic Fibrosis Research Team. Thanks so much for your support!
