Welcome to another edition of Stars And Stripes E-Newsletter, keeping you up to date with what's happening with the AWA!

We had a few late breaking additions -- there's lots to keep us busy right now!

GENX Group Picnic in the Park

WHAT: Family picnic in the park

WHEN: Saturday 18 October 1 pm

WHERE: Royal Botanical Gardens (spot in the gardens TBA)

Bring along your favourite picnic food & a nice soft blanket...partners and kids are also more than welcome! We'll spend the afternoon relaxing in the sun, enjoying the gardens, and meeting up with the other members and their families.

Starlight Foundation

Would you like to help in the Starlight Room of the Royal Children's Hospital bringing some fun and cheer to the children by doing crafts and activities with them? We need volunteers for the first Tuesdays of the month beginning on October 7 from 10 am until noon. Please contact Tricia Rubenstein for more information.
