TGI FRIDAY'S IS HOSTING A FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION!

To celebrate America's Independence Day, TGI Friday's will again be hosting a Fourth of July celebration!  Due to the overwhelming success of last year's celebration, TGI Friday's will be having two celebrations this year, one at their Jam Factory location in South Yarra and the other at their Dorcaster restaurant.   For more information about these events, please click at 4th-july-email-flyer.

IT'S TIME AGAIN TO START PLANNING THE AWA HALLOWEEN PARTY!

It's hard to believe...but Halloween will be here before we know it!  Last year's "Trick or Trunk" party was a huge success and the kids and parents all had a lot of fun!  Just like last year, there will be lots of kids' activities, food and, of course, treats!  We are presently putting together a Halloween committee to plan this year's event.  If you are interested in helping, please contact Charlene Johnston at 9592 5921 or email her here or contact Rebecca Cannon at 0448 125 646.

AWA LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO PLAN THE THANKSGIVING DINNER FUNDRAISER!

Committee members are needed to help make this year's fundraiser a big success!  If you are able to volunteer a bit of your time and energy, it would be most appreciated!  Please contact Mindy Thiesen at 0414 620 754 or mindyr@bigpond.com.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE ROYAL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL GIFT SHOP!

AWA is looking for members who would like to volunteer at RCH's Gift Shop.  The shifts are only three hours long and you can bring a friend to work alongside you!  The shifts available are:

               July 24th 1-4pm

               September 25th  1-4pm

               October 23rd  1-4pm

               November 27th  10 am - 1 pm  and 1-4pm

We also need a Gift Shop Coordinator, who will be responsible for scheduling the volunteers for the shop.
