WE NEED CONTRIBUTORS FOR THE JULY/AUGUST ISSUE OF THE AWARE MAGAZINE!
Tracee Veenstra, the editor of AWARE Magazine, is looking for contributors for the following articles:
*CALLING ALL FOOTY FANS! Please tell us in a few lines which footy team you barrack for and why. If possible, you can even include pictures of you and/or your family dressed in your favorite footy club colors. Please contact Karen Fitpatrick here with your details and pictures.
*ADVICE FOR MOTHER OF THE BRIDE - have you recently experienced being in the role of mother of the bride? Do you have any advice based on your experience? Maybe you have advice for expat mothers on planning a wedding from afar (or in Australia's case, very afar!). If so, we would love to hear from you. Please send your advice and a wedding picture or two to a recent mother of the bride, Cheryl Barrow, here.
*SHOPPING ADVICE IN MELBOURNE - if you enjoy shopping and could tell us the name and location of your favorite "hidden gem" of a shop (for clothing, interiors, bookstore, gourmet food, etc.), we would love to hear from you. Please send your responses to Leslie Coote here. This will be the "Question of the Month" piece for the July/August issue of AWARE.
Thank you to all contributors to the Stars and Stripes newsletter. If you would like to publicize any AWA events in the next issue, please contact Charlene Johnston here. Thank you.
