The 2008 AWA Nominating Committee would love to hear your suggestions for board position nominees. We are also looking for suggestions for event chairs for the 2008 Halloween Event, Thanksgiving Event and Holiday Luncheon and the 2009 Valentine's Cocktail Party, 2009 Golf Tournament and 2009 Independence Day Ball. AWA Member Hoda Paine is organizing an afternoon of jazz on Sunday, March 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Waterfront in Port Melbourne. The atmosphere and view at the restaurant is spectacular! Please contact Hoda Paine here to join in the fun!
 AWA LOOKING FOR RUNNERS/WALKERS FOR THE UPCOMING RUN4KIDS EVENT!
The 2008 Herald Sun/Citylink Run for the Kids is being held on Sunday, March 30, 2008 with proceeds going to help the sick children at the Royal Children's Hospital. AWA member Mindy Thiesen is organizing a group of walkers/runners for this event. Registrations close March 14th so please contact Mindy Thiesen here right away if you are interested in participating. What a great way to help a worthy cause while getting exercise at the same time!
 THE AWA GENERATION-X GROUP IS GOING TO THE ZOO!
The next outing for the Generation X group is to the Melbourne Zoo on Saturday, March 15th from 6-9 p.m. This Zoo Twilights event is for couples. Please contact Ann Marie Johnston here if you are interested in attending.
