TGI FRIDAY'S IS HOSTING A SUPER BOWL PARTY ON FEBRUARY 8TH!
For all our sports fans out there, TGI Friday's will be showing Super Bowl XLII at the Jam Factory! Please come out and take part in this annual American football tradition with your fellow expats (and some Australians as well!). AWA VALENTINE'S DAY COCKTAIL PARTY IS THE FIRST SOCIAL EVENT OF 2008!
On February 14th, AWA will host its annual Valentine's Day Cocktail Party! Earl and Jeanne Irving have once again graciously offered their home for this formal and very fun evening. The party will be held between 7-9 p.m. on Valentine's Day. The cost will be $20.00 per person. Details and RSVP forms will be available in the next issue of AWAre magazine. ROYAL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FUN RUN COMING IN MARCH!
The 2008 Herald Sun/Citylink Run for the Kids is being held Sunday, March 30, 2008 with the proceeds going to help the sick children at Royal Children's Hospital. There will be a 14-kilometer run or 5-kilometer run/walk so participants can choose which course they would like to take. AWA members are encouraged to organize their own walking/running teams. SAVE THE DATE!!! The AWA/Grace Charity Golf Tournament will be held Tuesday, March 18th!
The AWA Golf Tournament will be held at the Kingston Heath Golf Club, which is the #2 ranked club in Australia and #21 in the world! Starting at 11:30 a.m., the tournament promises to be very enjoyable with lunch and a cocktail reception included. Bring a team, your clients or play as an individual!
