Looking for something to do on Halloween besides trick-or-treating?  T.G.I. Friday's Restaurant will be throwing their own party on Halloween! Come celebrate Halloween at the T.G.I. Friday's Restaurant at the Jam Factory on October 31st. There will be a face painter, balloons and a special trick or treat for the kids starting at 4:00 p.m. This will be a fun event for the whole family to enjoy on the actual holiday! RESERVE SPACE NOW FOR THANKSGIVING DINNER ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH!

Please RSVP soon to the big Thanksgiving dinner that will be held next month!  The dinner will be held on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18th at 12:00 p.m. and will include the traditional feast of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, corn and of course, pumpkin pie!  See the AWA website Thanksgiving Dinner under the Special Events section for more detailed information and reservation forms. 

There will also be a silent auction and raffle items with the proceeds used to purchase equipment for the Royal Children's Hospital.

NOVEMBER'S AWA COFFEE WILL BE A COOKIE EXCHANGE!

To get into the holiday spirit, November's Coffee will be a cookie exchange.   All you have to do is bring 4 dozen homemade treats and you will get to pick four dozen of the delectable goodies other members bring! This will be a great chance to get together, relax and socialize before the holiday season begins in earnest!  The coffee will take place at Charlene Johnston's home on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd at 10:00 a.m.  Please RSVP to Charlene at 9592 5921 or Julie Madison at 9503 0012 or email Charlene here if you are interested in attending.

VOTE FOR THE THEME FOR THE 2008 AWA BALL!

AWA's biggest fundraiser of the year will be here before we know it.  Please take a moment and help the AWA Ball Committee pick a theme for next year's AWA ball.  The choices are:  Big Band 1940s, Masquerade, or Pageants - Miss America.  We would love to have your input.  Please click here and pick your favorite now!
