The AWA and the RCH
The AWA has been fundraising and volunteering for the Royal Children's Hospital
since June, 1931.
Over the years, our organisation has knitted booties, transported patients, purchased equipment and partnered with departments.
In our 80+ years, the AWA has raised over $4 million for the RCH.
For the three years from August 2011, the AWA has committed to raising funds for the Children's Bioethics Centre.
The AWA also volunteers at the hospital through the RCH Gift Shop and the Starlight Room.
Over the past 10 years, the AWA has raised over $1.44 million.
