AWA President, Ann Marie Johnston, On News and Meets President Obama
Wednesday, 16 November, was a special day for the AWA.
Our President (AWA), Ann Marie Johnston, was welcomed on to the ABC Breakfast
News with Virginia Trioli and Matthew Rowland to represent 'American's living
in Australia'.
After the appearance on the news, Ann Marie whisked down to Canberra for the
special opportunity to represent the AWA at the Parliamentary Dinner in honor
of President Obama.
A special thank you to Sally Branson, the media advisor for Melbourne's Consul
General Frank Urbancic, (and one of the AWA's POA's) who helped to make both
events possible.
Both were special recognition further emphasising the importance role that the
AWA plays in Australia.
You can be proud to be a part of this vibrant and important organisation!
