US Ambassador Helps Celebrate the AWA's 80th Birthday
The AWA & RCH were honoured by a visit from U.S. Ambassador Jeffrey Bleich
(and wife, Becky) in support of the AWA's 80th birthday celebration.
A tour of the hospital showcased some of the life saving equipment that the
AWA has raised for the RCH over recent years. It also included a visit to
the Starlight Room where AWA members volunteer
their time once a month.
The afternoon highlighted the important work and contributions this
organisation makes to the Melbourne community via the RCH.
